Game Description

As Majesty is a novel strategy board game for two players in which each is in possession of a kingdom defended by an army. The objective is to win the war between the nations by performing a Total Invasion, which is capturing the opposing Kingdom.

Your army consists of pieces, which are based on a middle age social pyramid, and are Squires, Archers, Monks, Mages, Princes, Princesses, a King and a Kingdom. Each one of these pieces has a different function and vocation.

The playing board has an hexagonal shape and is composed of six reigns, represented by six triangles containing sixteen equilateral triangles each, for a total of ninety six board positions.

This unique geometry allows for greater freedom of movement than traditional boards based on square board positions: the most powerful pieces can move in twelve directions instead of the usual eight.

All of these factors contribute to a fast paced and challenging game.
