Color Guardians shined on the “3rd Costa Rican videogames demonstration”

12095007_1657298917872932_7856764807978135844_o   This is the third year Costa Rica carries out “The Costa Rican videogames demonstration” and, of course, Fair Play Labs had a great time being part of it. We really enjoyed the hardwork of our colleagues and we are amazed with their developments.   Local videogames industry’s latest products and advances were shown in the event, that’s why we participated with our newest game for PS4, PSVita and Steam: "Color Guardians", sharing the development experiences, challenges and goals.   We are also glad we had the opportunity of having fun with the large number of participants who came to play the game.   Color Guardian’s producer, Felipe Cartín, gave a conference about the development process of the game, going from a mobile-game idea to a Next-Gen multiplatform development. He solved and clarified some concerns and queries and was very clear stating that it was a challenge but it was totally worth it.   “It was very exciting, when we moved from mobile to PS4 we had to work really hard and redefine the original project and team involved” Felipe said to the audience.   From children to adults, a lot of people came to enjoy the wide variety of national videogames. We also held a tournament during the day: 3 kids and 3 adults (the ones with the highest score) were able to win a brand new Color Guardians’ download-code!.   Roque Vásquez was a first time Color Guardians player: “It's a nice game and I enjoyed the time while trying to get the highest score”. We all had a great time playing the game; now is time to work harder in order to improve our local industry! 12109001_1657298544539636_5464369825565582233_n
